I'm an assistant research fellow in the Institute of Statistical Science, Academia Sinica. I received my PhD, MS, and BS in Statistics and Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics, National Taiwan University, under supervision of Professor Chin-Tsang Chiang.
My research focuses more on applying nonparametric models and semiparametric methods to various statistical problems and data structures. Currently, dimension reduction and variable screening in general semiparametric approach are main concerns of my work. I also extend these methods to survival analysis, case-control study, ROC analysis, causal inference, and functional data to generalize and improve classical parametric and nonparametric methodologies. |
Research Interests
- Semiparametric models and nonparmatric methods
- Dimension reduction and variable screening
- Survival analysis with multiple or high-dimensional covariates
- ROC analysis
- More general models and estimation problems in causal inference
- Regression with functional covariates
